Don and Rosemary Vial Awards for Digital Inclusion
Overview
The California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) has established an awards program in honor of Don and Rosemary Vial to recognize extraordinary performance and achievements by CETF grantees and other partners to close the Digital Divide and promote Digital Inclusion in California. CETF is especially interested in recognizing innovations in harnessing market forces to serve the public good. Awards will be made annually/bi-annually in two categories:
- Exemplary Performance by an Individual – $2,500
- Outstanding Performance by an Organization – $10,000
The deadline for submission of nominations for the 2012 inaugural Don and Rosemary Vial Awards is: Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 5:00 PM. Awards will be presented on the evening of Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Los Angeles.

Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted by via Nomination Forms, either by U.S. mail or email. An individual may submit more than one nomination for each category, provided separate written nominations are submitted for each nominee.
