Local governments and regional agencies have key planning responsibilities and land use regulatory authorities, such as oversight of general plans and blueprints for sustainability that can promote broadband deployment and adoption. CETF and the Center for a New Orange County promulgated a comprehensive sample policy as a resource for local and regional governments.
