The City of San José established a dedicated Digital Inclusion Partnership to advance Digital Equity and close the Digital Divide in San José. CETF is helping to manage the grantmaking program for the Partnership for grants to community-based organizations and local public agencies. The grants will contribute to the Digital Inclusion Partnership goals to:
➤ Connect 50,000 San José households with universal device access and universal connectivity speeds over the next 10 years.
➤ Ensure 50,000 San José households achieve and sustain the appropriate digital skills proficiency level (basic, intermediate, or advanced) to stay ahead of technology and increase equality of life outcomes (education, workforce, healthcare and more).
