Families at three Riverside middle schools are getting new — and free — Chromebooks.
On Dec. 1, those eligible at Central Middle School received the laptops, paid for by donations from Frontier Communications and the California Emerging Technology Fund, a Riverside Unified School District news release states. The 500 computers also are being given to students at Chemawa and University Heights middle schools
