AB1588 (Wilson), the Affordable Internet and Net Equality Act of 2024 is being heard in the Assembly Committee on Communications and Conveyance this week.
AB1588 requires that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that do business with the State of California must also offer their own affordable high-speed Internet plans to our low-income families. Why AB1588 Matters:
